FOREIGN TRADE OF RUSSIA AND TURKEY IN THE CONTEXT OF GEOPOLITICAL CHALLENGES
The development of the Russian economy, as well as of all modern countries in the conditions of geopolitical transformation largely depends on the factor of foreign trade. The interdependence of countries in conditions of geopolitical instability increases the risks of economic crises. The change in the geographical areas of interaction between countries means the need to form new sustainable trade chains and their integration into the already established links. The relevance of the analysis of foreign trade relations between Russia and Turkey is determined by the authors based on the inevitability of geopolitical changes in the context of determining the prospects of interaction between the two countries based on the application of indicators of geopolitical distance and geographical proximity.
