A Modular Bacteriophage T4 Nanoparticle Platform Enables Rapid Design of Dual COVID‐19‐Flu Mucosal Vaccines
Vaccines Design of needle-free, intranasal, bacteriophage-based dual nanovaccine against COVID-19 and Flu. The bacteriophage T4 nanoparticle is decorated with multiple antigens from SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses. When administered to mice intranasally, the vaccine induced potent mucosal immunity in respiratory airways, in addition to robust neutralizing antibodies and cellular immune responses. The vaccine conferred complete protection against both COVID-19 and Flu infections. More in article number 2400580, Jingen Zhu, Ashok K. Chopra, Venigalla B. Rao, and co-workers.
