ESTUDO PARA EDUCADORES UTILIZAREM ABELHAS COMO FERRAMENTA DE APRENDIZAGEM E INCLUSÃO DE ALUNOS COM NECESSIDADES EDUCATIVAS ESPECIAIS NA EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL

Considering the mandatory inclusion of students with special educational needs in the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education and their reception in environmental education, this work aimed to offer teaching-learning facilitating instruments for educators from PAEE (Specialized Educational Assistance Teacher) and CEFAI (Center for Training and Monitoring for Inclusion) to use the theme “bees and nature” as a tool for inclusion, for students with disabilities and also with other special educational needs, as provided for in the National Policy for Special Education since 1994.The work was carried out in September 2024, at EMEF Padre Chico Falconi, with 7 educators, who serve a total of 29 students, with different types of special educational needs (ADHD, T21, intellectual disability, low vision, autism, cerebral palsy, wheelchair users) in addition to helping to monitor other students when any learning difficulty was identified. Initially, the educators were asked to make a drawing on paper with the theme “Bees and Nature”, to verify whether the participants understood that humans are part of nature with biotic and abiotic elements present in the biosystem. In the second moment, the educators attended a lecture on the diversity of bees. In the third moment, they attended a class on bees and transdisciplinarity. In the fourth stage, the request for the drawing with the theme “Bees and Nature” was repeated, to offer a qualitative analysis of the perception of the theme. In the fifth stage, educators answered a questionnaire for quantitative analysis of their perception of the importance of teaching about bees and their relationships in nature. Finally, after collecting the data, activities appropriate for each type of special educational need present among the students were applied: music, illustration, high relief drawing, outdoor inspection, association games, video and an exhibition panel about bees. Of the 7 educators who underwent the training offered in this research, 100% applied the proposed activities, reporting satisfactory student learning.
