The European master for HPC curriculum

The use of High-Performance Computing (HPC) is crucial for addressing various grand challenges. While significant investments are made in digital infrastructures that comprise HPC resources, its realisation, operation, and, in particular, its use critically depends on suitably trained experts. In this paper, we present the results of an effort to design and implement a pan-European reference curriculum for a master's degree in HPC. • Discussion of the methodology that led to the formulation of this curriculum. • Documentation of a holistic curriculum for a master in High-Performance Computing (HPC) education. • Evaluation of early experiences with the implementation of the curriculum and the training of EUMaster4HPC students.
