Field responds to ‘dramatic restructuring’ of SAMHSA into new agency

As the administration moves forward with its plans to centralize functions, decrease the federal workforce and consolidate Health and Human Services (HHS) divisions, including the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the mental health community is concerned this move will disrupt SAMHSA's functions and consolidate with agencies that have a completely different focus.
