Snare-assisted delivery and coaxial optimization of a self-expanding transcatheter aortic valve in the horizontal aorta
Although the effectiveness of snare techniques during self-expandable transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in the horizontal aorta has been reported, detailed technical guidance, such as identifying optimal snaring locations and timing, remains limited. This report highlights the challenges of TAVR in horizontal aortas, demonstrating that strategically repositioning the snare to poorly coaxialized segments of the delivery system facilitates valve passage and subsequent coaxial deployment.
