The Effectiveness of Using STEAM-CLIL Technology in The Context of Distance Education
This article examines the possibilities of in-depth study of scientific concepts, the development of language skills through distance learning, and the adaptation of students to the modern world through the effective implementation of the STEAM CLIL model. Investigating the key factors influencing the effectiveness of STEAM CLIL technology is an important step in ensuring quality education and preparing students for the challenges of the information society. Therefore, the effectiveness of a teaching methodology that combines STEAM elements (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach is analyzed in detail. The study explores the impact of applying STEAM CLIL educational models in distance learning on students' academic performance, language skills, creativity, and critical thinking. A systematic analysis of scientific literature was conducted, STEAM CLIL elements and the capabilities of digital educational resources were examined. A pedagogical experiment was organized, and the collected data were subjected to statistical and mathematical analysis. As a result of the research, digital educational resources, STEAM elements, and a set of CLIL-based tasks were developed and implemented in the learning process. The application of the research findings and the evaluation of the STEAM CLIL model demonstrated its significant potential for enriching students' educational experience. This article presents methodological approaches that contribute to the effective use of the STEAM CLIL model in distance learning and the improvement of the educational process based on scientifically grounded conclusions.
