A Study on the Correlation Analysis of Measured Sound and Cabinet Vibration
In order to cleanse the sound emitted from a source (speaker cone) from noises originating from the speaker’s cabinet, it is necessary to identify the emitting parts and the frequency range most affected by these parts of the cabinet. To this end, this paper provides two different approaches for frequency-dependent noise source identification and provides quantitative indices to evaluate the strength of the contribution. The results from different methods display reasonable degrees of agreement which validates the techniques used.
