Computerized accounting system was implemented to a great extent in terms of cost-effectiveness, customizability, and reliability. Meanwhile, the security aspect was moderately implemented which may lead to a potential vulnerability in safeguarding sensitive financial data. Businesses with over 10 years of operation typically show increased effectiveness in implementing computerized accounting systems, emphasizing customizability, reliability, and security, while sole proprietorships and corporations often rate higher in cost- effectiveness, reliability, and security. Moreover, businesses with a monthly transaction volume of 1,000 tend to provide better assessments in terms of cost- effectiveness and security compared to lower transaction volumes. A plan of action was proposed to enhance the implementation of computerized accounting systems.
