The nutritional status of undergraduate college students is crucial for their immediate health, academic performance, and future well-being. This study assesses the anthropometric characteristics and nutritional status of 300 undergraduate students at Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Using proportionate simple random sampling, data was collected via questionnaires and physical measurements. The results show that the majority of students fall within the height range of 166-175 cm, with the most common weight range being 45-50 kg. BMI analysis reveals that 47% of students are within the healthy BMI range of 21-25, while 45% are in the lower BMI range of 15-20, indicating potential underweight issues. Only a small percentage of students fall into the overweight or obese categories. These findings emphasize the importance of targeted interventions to address nutritional disparities and promote healthy behaviors among college students, ensuring their optimal health and academic success.
