THE ROLE OF COOPERATION IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF SPATIAL ORGANIZATION OF AGRICULTURE
The agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation is currently not only the largest producer of agricultural products, raw materials and food, but also an important exporter of agricultural products. "The modern Agrarian structure is largely the result of the federal government's agricultural policy aimed at supporting agroholdings, which receive the bulk of state support, thereby gaining a competitive advantage and displacing small businesses" [1]. In Russia, unlike many countries, large businesses are financed, including holdings. Small farms, as a rule, are not provided with money. As a result, the so-called focal development of agriculture has developed. In some regions, the share of agricultural holding production reaches 70%, which indicates that other economic entities produce less. Structural changes in the absence of rural cooperation have had a negative impact on the management of individual sub-sectors of agriculture. Therefore, the alternative to large agricultural holdings should be the development of a rural cooperative process that would unite small and medium-sized producers of agricultural products, raw materials and food. It is precisely the cooperative interaction of peasant (farm) households, households of the population and individual enterprises that will be able to ensure the sustainable development of agriculture and the agro-industrial complex as a whole.
