Enhancing the selectivity of C 2 hydrocarbons over Fe-based catalysts by controlling nitrogen doping in electrocatalytic CO 2 reduction
It was found that the obtained catalyst without a FeN 4 structure could convert CO 2 to C 2 hydrocarbons (ethane and ethylene). The faradaic efficiency (FE) and the current density of C 2 products reached 60.8% and 39.1 mA cm −2 , respectively.
