Project-based learning with artificial intelligence technologies in teaching foreign languages to future hospitality industry professionals

The aim of this research is to substantiate the feasibility of employing the project-based learning method with the integration of artificial intelligence technologies in the foreign language instruction of hospitality industry students. The article presents a methodology for organizing project-based activities using artificial intelligence technologies in foreign language classes for professional purposes in higher education. The project-based learning method (exemplified by students' development of tourist routes on the "Gamma" neural network platform) proves effective in developing the necessary competencies in future tourism and hospitality management specialists. The scientific novelty of this research lies in the creation of a methodology for organizing student project activities using artificial intelligence technologies in foreign language classes (exemplified by the "Gamma" neural network – an artificial intelligence platform for creating presentations) during the students' development of tourist routes in English. The results generalize the practical experience of applying the proposed methodology for organizing student project activities using artificial intelligence technologies in foreign language classes for professional purposes, which is a dynamic and engaging way to develop the linguistic, communicative, and project competencies of hospitality industry students.
