On the competence of QMS auditors at a mechanical engineering enterprise

The main goal is to improve the methodology for assessing the competence of internal auditors to improve the quality of QMS audits at a mechanical engineering enterprise. Eff ective and effi cient functioning of the company's quality management system depends on the quality of the organization of the audit process and the competence of the internal auditors of the QMS. An auditor at a mechanical engineering enterprise must not only know the requirements of the ISO 9000 series of standards and quality standards for fi nished products, but also have deep knowledge of technological processes, the specifi cs of production operations, design documentation, and experience in the field of mechanical engineering. This will allow not only to detect actual nonconformities, but also to identify potential nonconformities, predict possible risks and propose corrective and preventive actions.
