ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH METHODS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF CREATION OF FRAGMENT FIELDS BY RADIAL-AXIAL HIGH-EXPLOSIVE FRAGMENTATION PROJECTILE

Today, taking into account the experience of the Russian-Ukrainian war, it has become known that radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells are one of the most common classes of shells. These samples have proven themselves quite effectively due to the wide range of their application in various ways of defeating almost all types of targets, with the exception of: underwater, heavily armored and concrete structures. The article analyzes experimental and mathematical methods for studying the fragmentation fields of radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells and their nature of impact, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the main research methods. The main factors influencing the creation of fragmentation fields by radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells are analyzed, which provides an understanding of the type of fragmentation fields, the process of their formation and spread in space. The factors influencing the striking efficiency of the fragmentation fields of radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells have been analyzed, which will further create opportunities for research, forecasting and expansion of vectors of fragmentation fractions dispersion zones, which causes the deepening of the fragmentation fields of radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells in the environment. Analysis of the existing results of the study of internal detonation processes allows us to obtain an objective picture of the distribution of fragments of fragmentation fields of radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells in space depending on the type of the fragmentation field itself. And thereby, it creates the basis for the possibility of improving existing scientific methods (techniques) for studying the structure and nature of the action of fragmentation fields of radial-axial high-explosive fragmentation shells. This will create conditions for more accurate prediction of the nature of the impact of fragments on enemy manpower located in modern means of armor protection or in light-type shelters. Abstract
