Determinants of Long-Term FinTech Adoption in the Banking Sector
The global expansion of FinTech has been remarkable, spurring significant academic interest in recent years. However, much of the existing research lacks clearly defined objectives and fails to establish meaningful connections between studies, leaving critical gaps in knowledge and unanswered questions. As FinTech evolves, further focused and integrative research is essential to solidify its standing as an academic discipline. This study seeks to address some of these gaps by investigating the impact of FinTech adoption on customer attitudes. Data was collected using a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, administered to a randomly selected sample of 182 respondents. Quantitative techniques, including the KMO Bartlett Test, Regression Analysis, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), were employed to analyze the data. The findings reveal that FinTech adoption significantly influences customer attitudes, demonstrating its transformative impact on the financial services landscape. This study not only highlights the need for more cohesive and targeted research in FinTech but also contributes to the ongoing discourse by identifying areas for further exploration. Ultimately, the paper aims to advance the establishment of FinTech as a recognized academic discipline while emphasizing its profound effects on consumer behavior
