Historical narrative in the representation of Crimean identity in new Crimean media after 2014: a value aspect
The article analyzes certain aspects of the historical identity of Crimea, associated with the practice of representing events about the past in new Crimean media. An assumption about the narrative nature of historical memory is made. The use of narrative in media representations of history translates “events of the past” into “media events”, integrating knowledge of the past into the structure of historical identity. Emphasis is placed on the value of historical education for journalists.
