The Discrete Cucker–Smale Model With the Target Velocity Involving Task Strategy
ABSTRACT In this paper, we investigate the discrete Cucker–Smale model with the target velocity involving task strategy. We use the discrete energy method for both the time‐invariant strategy and the time‐variant strategy to show that unconditional flocking would occur for , whereas conditional flocking occurs for . Besides, for the time‐variant strategy, we apply the threshold strategy to obtain unconditional flocking occurrence for any initial data and . Finally, we provide several numerical simulations to illustrate our theoretical result with the threshold strategy.
