Chaotic system-based image watermarking for medical data protection
The inherent sensitivity of chaotic systems to initial conditions is leveraged to generate a robust and unpredictable watermark, which is embedded into medical images. In this paper we proposed an image watermarking technique using chaotic system to enhance the security of medical data. The proposed watermarking method utilizes the chaotic dynamics of a 4D- hyperchaotic system to guarantee that the watermark is imperceptible to human vision while enduring common image manipulations like noise addition and compression. Through simulations, we demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach by analyzing the security features of the watermarked images’ robustness and imperceptibility against a range of attacks. The findings show significant results in terms of security, resilience, and data protection.
