A EFICÁCIA DO MICROAGULHAMENTO NO TRATAMENTO DE CICATRIZ DE ACNE
Microneedling is a dermocosmetic technique that utilizes a device known as a roller, consisting of microneedles that create controlled microperforations in the epidermis and dermis, inducing the production of collagen and elastin. This process leads to significant improvements in skin texture, reduction of scar depth, and tissue regeneration. It is widely indicated in dermatological protocols, including the treatment of acne scars, with the objective of promoting skin regeneration through neocollagenesis and restoring skin integrity and vitality. The technique stands out for its high efficacy, low incidence of adverse effects, and short recovery period, making it a less invasive alternative compared to procedures such as laser, with a lower risk of hyperpigmentation and the possibility of combining it with other therapies for synergistic results. In addition to its aesthetic benefits, patients often report a positive impact on self- esteem and quality of life. Although microneedling is considered safe, its execution requires technical precision and a trained professional due to the risk of complications, such as infections or adverse reactions. Common side effects are generally self-limited and temporary, including erythema, peeling, and local sensitivity. The practice of microneedling necessitates adherence to standardized safety and sterilization protocols, ensuring predictable and reproducible outcomes, solidifying its role as a relevant and innovative therapeutic strategy in aesthetic dermatology.
