Ultrahigh Energy Storage Capability in Polyetherimide‐Based Polymer Dielectrics Through Trapping Free Radicals Strategy (Adv. Funct. Mater. 14/2025)
Polymer Dielectrics In article number 2418466, Huijian Ye, Lixin Xu, and co-workers present a hyperbranched polymer grafting with a conjugated double bond serves as a trapping effect through addition reaction with free radicals, which delays the formation of electrical treeing at initial stage of breakdown. The combination of suppressed conduction loss and maintaining intrinsic breakdown contributes to the outstanding high-temperature energy density and efficiency in the polyetherimide nanocomposite.
