In vitro Investigation of L-Kynurenine and Quinolinic Acid on Melanoma and Endothelioma Cells, and In Vivo Evaluation of L-Kynurenine Combined with CTCE-9908 in C57BL/6 Mice
4.4.2.Alpha and beta diversity were assessed for sex, clinical benefit after one year, RECIST, and best of response, analyzing differences between groups.Linear discriminant analysis (LDA) identified differences in microbial composition between groups.A Random Forest classifier was trained using the OTU abundance calculations, following the Qiime2 best practices guide. Results: The alpha diversity indices Chao1, Observed Features, and Shannon found significant differences with p.adjusted by Benjamini-Hochberg < 0.05 for the clinical benefit at year variable. This indicates that microbial population abundance could affect the response to immunotherapy. In the LefSe test, with an LDA score of 3, we identified ten bacterial genera that could predict good and poor responses to immunotherapy.
