Checkpoint Inhibitor-induced Liver Injury in patients with advanced melanoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma: a single center experience

which is applicable to pediatric patients with classical Hodgkin lymphoma. We treated him with nivolumab 480 mg evry 4 weeks in 1 year as postoperative adjuvant therapy. Results: A 13-year old boy had a brown patch on the top of his head since birth. He was referred to the dermatology department of a general hospital for further investigation at the age of 7 and underwent partial excision, which was diagnosed as an intradermal nevus on histopathological examination.Subsequently, the residual lesion gradually grew larger and became raised. He underwent a complete excision and was diagnosed with MM.The tumor thickness was 8.5 mm and no BRAF mutation was detected. There was no evidence of distant metastasis on imaging examination. The patient underwent an extended resection and selective cervical lymph node dissection, which revealed lymph node metastasis (1/48), and was referred to our department for further treatment. He completed one year of adjuvant nivolumab therapy, and there has been no recurrence 8 months after completion of treatment. No immune-related adverse events other than vitiligo on his face and upper lims have been observed. Conclusions: In our case, adjuvant nivolumab therapy was safe for use in children.Since vitiligo was observed, the effectiveness of nivolumab is expected.
