Biodegradable Temporizing Matrix in Skin Cancer Reconstruction: An Innovative Approach
Background: Reconstructing complex skin defects following skin cancer excision poses significant challenges, mainly when traditional methods such as grafts or flaps are unsuitable. The Biodegradable Temporizing Matrix (BTM) has emerged as a novel solution for reconstructing such defects by promoting dermal regeneration and preparing the wound bed for definitive closure. This study evaluates the application of BTM in skin cancer reconstruction, focusing on its efficacy, safety, and aesthetic outcomes.
