Efficacy of Tirbanibulin in Lentigo Maligna: Case Report and Therapeutic Considerations
Background: Lentigo maligna is a slowly growing melanoma in situ that manifests as a pigmented, asymmetrical macule, predominantly on the head and neck. Diagnosis relies on clinical examination and dermoscopy, confirmed by histological analysis. Management of lentigo maligna is evolving, and treatment is crucial to prevent progression to lentigo maligna melanoma. Surgical excision is the first-line therapy, followed by radiotherapy and imiquimod cream. Alternative treatments have been explored; however, robust evidence supporting their efficacy remains insufficient.
