Remote detection of lithium isotopes with femtosecond filament-induced plasma spectroscopy
The present study investigates femtosecond filament-induced plasma spectroscopy for real-time and remote detection of lithium isotopes. The filament propagation and telescope detection allowed measurement of samples at a distance of 36 meters. Based on emission spectra from filament-induced plasmas, quantitative and qualitative analysis of lithium isotopes was directly demonstrated. We were able to further enhance analytical precision by performing spatiotemporal-resolved plasma diagnostics. This work showcases the ability to directly detect lithium isotope ratios at remote distances with femtosecond laser filaments without the need for complex calibration routines.
