Zn (II) Complexes Synthesized With Salamo‐Type Ligand as a Highly Efficient Sensor to Detect MnO4− in Aqueous Solution
ABSTRACT Herein, Three Salamo‐type Zn (II) complexes [Zn 2 (L)( μ ‐OAc)]·CH 3 OH ( 1 ), [Zn 4 (L) 2 ]Cl 2 ( 2 ), [Zn 4 (L) 2 ](NO 3 ) 2 ( 3 ) is synthesized as the fluorescence probe for ultrasensitive detection of MnO 4 − in aqueous solution. The structure analysis shows that complex 1 is a binuclear structure, while complexes 2 and 3 is a symmetric tetranuclear structure. Three complexes exhibited high stability of fluorescence intensity in aqueous solvent. The detection limit is 8.8, 12.8 and 13.8 μM. The anions involved in coordination in complex 1 undergo structural changes due to their different coordination modes compared with complexes 2 and 3 , resulting in better detection performance than the other two complexes. Zn (II) complexes have good selectivity and applicability for the determination of MnO 4 − in aqueous solutions. At the same time, the sensing effect in the real water samples was also detected. In addition, the fluorescence recognition mechanisms of three complexes for the detection of the above analytes were explored in detail.
