HENNC: Hardware Engine for Artificial Neural Network-Based Chaotic Oscillators

This paper introduces a framework for automatically generating hardware cores for Artificial Neural Network (ANN)-based chaotic oscillators. The framework starts with training a model to approximate a chaotic system and subsequently conducts design space exploration to identify potential hardware architectures for implementation. From the selected solution, the framework generates synthesizable High-Level Synthesis (HLS) code and a validation testbench tailored for FieldProgrammable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). The proposed framework enables a rapid hardware design process for candidate architectures, offering superior hardware cost efficiency and throughput compared to manually designed solutions. Abstract
