AS PRÁTICAS PSICOLÓGICAS NO SISTEMA ÚNICO DE SAÚDE: Uma revisão integrativa

This study aims to understand the professional practices of psychologists in the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) across the three levels of healthcare. A literature review was conducted in the SciELO and LILACS databases, considering national empirical articles published between 2013 and 2023 on the role of psychologists in the SUS. Sixteen articles were selected for analysis. The results were analyzed qualitatively, organizing the information into thematic categories based on two guiding axes: (1) Psychological practices across the three levels of healthcare and (2) Singular psychological practices according to the specificities of the healthcare context. The first axis encompasses psychological practices that cut across all three levels of healthcare and was organized into four categories: reception, psychological listening, psychological care for patients and families, and shared actions among team professionals. The second axis details interventions carried out at only one or two levels of healthcare. The review revealed that psychological practices in the SUS aim to reduce users' suffering and enhance their autonomy regarding their health-disease condition. Psychological interventions require comprehensive care and should be shared among healthcare team members, considering the multifactorial nature of health conditions.
