Understanding immunology in dermatology: exploring a case of nonbullous pemphigoid with absent C4 allotype
Pemphigoid is a common autoimmune subepidermal blistering disease that typically manifests with pruritus and large, fluid-filled blisters. A 67-year-old man presented with a 4-week history of a pruritic, persistent rash on the back that spread to his arms and legs despite topical mometasone furoate.
