Organizational personnel's intrapreneurial behavior: concepts and basic approaches to analysis
Introduction. In modern conditions of rapid economic, social and technological changes, the ability of organizations to adapt and implement innovations is critical for organizations' competitiveness. Intrapreneurship stimulates the formation of new business directions and strategic renewal of organizational processes, which positively affects the financial performance of companies. However, the relationship between the psychological characteristics of personnel and their entrepreneurial activity remains insufficiently studied. Aim. To make a theoretical analysis of personnel’s intrapreneurial behavior and approaches to its analysis as well as to make a scientific substantiation of the term "intrapreneurship". Results. Organizational personnel's intrapreneurship was shown to be a key factor in organizations' adaptation and development in conditions change. Personnel's proactivity and innovativeness had a positive effect on organizations' financial performance and management efficiency. Different approaches (orientational, productive, behavioral) to the analysis of organizational personnel's intrapreneurial behavior provide a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms of intrapreneurship. The synthesis of international experience and modern theoretical concepts contributes to the development of effective management strategies to stimulate innovative activity in organizations. Conclusions. Analysis of the features of intrapreneurship as a multidimensional phenomenon allows dealing with its economic, managerial and psychological aspects, which requires the integration of different theoretical approaches to develop practical recommendations for supporting and developing entrepreneurial activity.
