Personalized Nutrition in Melanoma: Optimizing Immunotherapy Through Diet and Metabolism
Background: Melanoma, an aggressive skin cancer, has experienced transformative advancements through immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). However, resistance to immunotherapy remains challenging, underscoring the need for complementary strategies. Emerging evidence highlights the potential of dietary modifications to influence melanoma progression and treatment response by modulating tumor metabolism, the immune microenvironment, and gut microbiota.
