PSYCHOLOGICAL DETERMINANTS OF THE SHAPING OF PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENTS IN MIXED REALITY

Background. The study of psychological determinants of shaping prosocial behavior of adolescents is connected with the need of society in the education of a prosperous personality with an active social position. Federal state standards of basic general and secondary education emphasise the need to form personal prosocial qualities of students, their expression in actions for the good of society. The aim of the study was to identify the determinants of prosocial behavior in mixed reality (in online interactions and in real life). Methods and techniques. Adolescents' prosocial behavior in mixed reality and its components were assessed using the techniques “Prosocial Tendencies Measurement” (PTM) (G. Carlo, B. Randall, adapted by N.V. Kuhtova), “Prosocial Personality Battery” (PSB) (L. Penner, adapted by S.V. Lantsova); “General Trust Scale” (GTS) (T. Yamagishi, adapted by E.A. Vlasenko); “Online Prosocial Behaviour” (OPB) (S. Erreygers, adapted by S.V. Lantsova), “Moral Identity” (MIQ)(C. Aquino, A. Reed, adapted by S.N. Enikolopov et al.), “Tromsø Social Intelligence Scale”, TSIS) (D. Silvera, M. Martinussen, modified by V.Y. Semyonov, A.D. Nasledov), “Scale of Intensity of Use of the Social Network VKontakte” (FIS), modification of D.S. Kornienko, N.A. Rudnova), “Value orientations” (GO) (O.I. Motkov, T.A. Ogneva). The study was conducted among secondary school students in Ivanovo Oblast (n=341 people, 13 to 16 years old, M = 15.2). The methods of descriptive statistics, regression analysis, path analysis were used. Results. The psychological determinants of adolescents' prosocial behavior in mixed reality were revealed: moral identity, internal value orientations, social skills of interaction, motivation for anonymous, altruistic, helping, and helping in situations that evoke emotions in adolescents. It is shown that empathy, trust and social skills influence adolescents' prosocial behavior not directly, but indirectly - through internal values. The results can be used in the development of programmes for education and training of prosocial behavior, in the creation of a favourable environment in school communities. EDN: JHMKVX
