LATENT RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN ADOLESCENTS’ PERSONAL TRAITS UNDER SOCIAL SITUATION DEVELOPMENT CHANGES
Background. Adolescence has always been and is one of the most interesting periods of development age for the researcher. In the modern socio-cultural, political, and economic situation, in the context of the transition to the digital environment in everything, both the social situation of development and the indicators of adolescent adulthood are undergoing significant changes. This leaves its mark on the leading activity, in general, on the personality formation. The usual guidelines in the course and timing of age periods are shifting, in the manifestations of adolescents, teenagers in the social sphere, behavior, new phenomena arise. The purpose of the study is to study the latent personality traits connections of adolescents aged 14-15 years using the artificial neural networks. Materials and methods. The possibilities of studying the personality characteristics of the adolescents are provided by the intellectual analysis of psycho diagnostics results according to the questionnaire 14-PF by R.B. Cattell. This standardized, widely used psycho diagnostic test is designed to identify 14 basic personality traits of subjects aged 12-13 to 16-17. The simplest neural network with one hidden layer was used for data processing. The training of the feed forward artificial neural network (ANN) was carried out in the analytical program "Deductor". Results. It is shown that the assessment of the quality of ANN training makes it possible to identify nonlinear and latent relationships between psychological indicators that are significant in the period of 14-15. The results of ANN training with different signs at the output show that the signs "H" (courage-timidity in communication) and "J" (Hamlet factor) are most closely related (minimum error and 100% recognition) to all personality traits. When "J" is excluded from the input data, the quality of ANN training deteriorates significantly, which indicates the connection of this personality trait with each of the other 13. Intelligence is included in the group of characteristics least related to all other characteristics. Conclusion. The two most significant personal traits for the age segment, indirectly interrelated with the rest of the traits, are the activity in communication "H" and a trait called the "Hamlet factor". Both indicators characterize the attitude towards society and social life. The results obtained by neural network analysis of psychodiagnostic data correspond to the psychological characteristics of adolescents. The effectiveness of the ANN for evaluating latent connections of psycho diagnostic data has been proven.
