Thermal Protection Characteristics of External Wall Structures with Thermal Conductivity Inclusions
The main problem in this article is to demonstrate the advantages of proper window installation, the correct location of the window relative to the surface of the outer wall, as well as the correct choice of building materials. Thermal insulation of exterior walls based on thermal quality control revealed temperature fluctuations in the extreme zones of enclosing structures. Using the results of thermography of the object, the most important thermotechnically heterogeneous sections of wall enclosing structures are identified. The deterioration of the thermal regime of structures is due to the significant impact of long-length heat-conducting inclusions adopted in the project. Methodology: An analysis of heating/cooling energy consumption for selected buildings was carried out to show an improvement in the energy efficiency of buildings. Additional heat losses caused by edge regions can be accurately determined by temperature fields. The heat transfer resistance of wall enclosing structures is in the range of permissible values of SP 50.13330.2012 «Thermal protection of buildings» and is close to the economically advantageous heat transfer resistance. However, the very low value of the coefficient of thermal uniformity of the exterior walls (0.49) is due to an inefficient design solution of thermal protection. Improving the design of exterior wall panels by using keys instead of walls reduces additional heat loss and increases the thermal protection properties of structures. The high value of the coefficient of thermal uniformity (0.64) in the proposed version indicates an increase in the efficiency of thermal protection of external walls. The use of keyway joints smoothes the temperature field and improves the thermal regime of the wall.
