The article deals with the challenges of language policy in Georgia, in the conditions of globalization and diversity. The example of Spain is interesting for Georgia, especially considering the issue of Catalan language and autonomy. The prospects of the reintegration of Abkhazia in Georgia increase the relevance of the issue of protecting and realizing the interests of minorities in language policy. The need to protect language and culture is emphasized, which will contribute to the preservation of ethnic diversity and harmonious coexistence in the united state of Georgia. The Georgian-Abkhazian language relationship and integration is based on certain features of the Catalan model, which will contribute to the preservation of a united Georgia, while respecting ethnic and cultural diversity. In addition to the autonomy of Abkhazia, in which the issue of linguistic parity, theoretically, at a certain level, can be said to be resolved by Georgia, and thus ready for the actualization of the reintegration process, the agenda may include the issue of Ossetia cultural autonomy, the status of which is undecided in the Georgian political-legal space, but upon its actualization, it will also be The actualization of the language policy towards the mentioned region and population, which in turn may create the need for a specific approach in the areas of compact settlement of other ethnic minorities, whose theoretical development and practical realization is already possible and desirable, may be pointless based on the proven principles of asymmetric regionalism in Spain. Purpose: The first is to realize the integrative function of the Georgian language by increasing the quality of its teaching for the purpose of full integration and homogenization of ethno-linguistic minorities in the Georgian state space, and on the other hand full-fledged ethno-cultural development of local communities.
