Formation of reporting information on fixed assets: innovations, problems, prospects
The article considers the regulations for the formation of reporting information on fixed assets of organizations. The innovations in relation to the reflection of fixed assets in the reporting are examined in connection with the adoption of FSBU 4/2023 “Accounting (Financial) Statements”, which should come into force starting with the reporting for 2025. The new rules for the formation of reporting information on fixed assets in FSBU 4/2023 “Accounting (Financial) Statements” are compared with the proposed regulations of the draft FSBU 4/2023, as well as with the requirements of the currently valid PBU 4/99 “Accounting Statements of an Organization” and Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation No. 66n dated July 2, 2010 “On the Forms of Accounting Statements of Organizations”. An assessment is given to the innovations of FSBU 4/2023 “Accounting (Financial) Statements” in relation to the disclosure of information on fixed assets in the reporting. Both the appropriate and controversial aspects of these innovations are substantiated. Recommendations are presented for resolving controversial aspects of the formation of information on fixed assets in accounting (financial) reporting.
