An Airport Video Information Fusion Method Based on A-SMGCS

To solve the problem that current civil aviation airport surface surveillance technology can't visually display the target, an airport video information fusion method based on A-SMGCS is proposed. Firstly, the actual GPS coordinates of the target are obtained by A-SMGCS. In addition, the pixel coordinates position of the target in the video image are obtained based on the actual GPS coordinates of the target and the pre constructed mapping relationship table between GPS coordinates and pixel coordinates. Moreover, the real-time video of the target is correlated and displayed based on the pixel coordinates position. Finally, the associated display of video image in A-SMGCS is achieved. The experiment on typical airport shows that the proposed method can not only make the information display of A-SMGCS more vivid and intuitive, but also can meet the requirement for increasing the aircraft capacity of future airport.
