Preparation and Performance of a Gas Sensor based on SnO2 Nanospheres

SnO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> has been widely studied in the field of gas sensing due to its excellent performance. In this paper, spherical SnO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> nanospheres were prepared by a one-step hydrothermal method. They were characterized by SEM, XRD, XPS, and gas sensitivity test. It was found that SnO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> sensor have fast response and high sensitivity to H<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>S, and have wide applicability.
