The Parameter Design and Modeling of the Direct Seeding Machine with Combination Holes
This study addresses the challenges of high-speed seeding in rice direct-seeding machines by designing a high-speed composite-type hole seed meter optimized for accuracy and reliability. Traditional seed meters, while effective at standard speeds, often fail to perform reliably at higher speeds, which limits operational efficiency in large-scale farming. Key design parameters for the high-speed seed wheel were meticulously determined, and critical components were verified for contact fatigue and bending fatigue strength. Finite element simulations confirmed the robustness and practicality of the proposed design and parameter selection, supporting its suitability for high-speed, precision seeding applications in rice production.
