An Interference Sources Localization Method Using ADS-B Data for GNSS
Since Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) system obtains the location information of aircrafts through GNSS, the effect of interference towards GNSS will be reflected in ADS-B data. An ADS-B data based localization method for GNSS blanket interference sources using clustering algorithm and circle fitting is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the starting points and the ending points of each fracture trajectory, which is just caused by GNSS blanket jammers, are extracted. Then, density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) clustering algorithm is used to exclude the noise points contributed by some random factors. After that, circle fitting is executed to realize the division of the point sets corresponding to different interference sources. Meanwhile, the estimation of the number and the position coordinates of interference sources are finished. Simulation results demonstrate that the average localization error of the proposed method can be reduced by 74% compared with the baseline scheme, i.e. the minimization cost function method (MCFM) under the scenario with single interference source. Moreover, the proposed schemes can be applicable to solve the localization issue of multiple interference sources, while MCFM method doesn't work in this case.
