High-frequency modelling and optimal design of common-mode inductors for EMI suppression of valve cooling system sensors
Common mode filters play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of sensors in valve cooling systems. Accurate modeling of common mode inductors under high-frequency operating conditions can help better design and optimize filters. This article points out the limitations of commonly used analytical models and proposes a more comprehensive and accurate analytical model that comprehensively considers material factors, the influence of time-varying electromagnetic fields, and the geometric characteristics of common mode inductors to solve the errors caused by traditional analytical models. In addition, this article also provides a detailed explanation of the physical significance behind the proposed model. This article compares two methods and validates the proposed method through simulations and experiments in four different scenarios. Finally, this article proposes a high-frequency optimization design method for common mode inductors.
