Security-Enhanced Data Sharing Model for Cloud-Edge Collaborative Network
Cloud-edge collaborative network is a promising paradigm for data sharing in Internet of Things (IoT). However, data services of the cloud server and edge nodes are provided by interest-oriented third parties, making it crucial to protect user privacy while sharing data. There are two main problems with existing schemes. On the one hand, most schemes focus on solving a certain aspect of issues and lack overall guidance on secure data sharing. On the other hand, terminal devices in cloud-edge collaborative network are susceptible to physical attacks, which may lead to the failure of traditional security schemes. To address the above issues, we present a security-enhanced data sharing model for cloud-edge collaborative network, which considers the security threats faced by main processes in cloud-edge data sharing as a whole. This model integrates mutual authentication mechanism, multi-dimensional access control mechanism, and ciphertext retrieval mechanism, and designs a physically secure key management scheme based on physical unclonable function (PUF) to provide protection against physical attacks. The proposed model can macroscopically solve the security issues faced by cloud-edge data sharing, which provides theoretical support for subsequent research.
