Design of a Color-Block Garbage Classification System Based on Machine Vision
Machine vision technology based on image analysis plays an important role in robot guidance, enabling the precise acquisition of object coordinates and angles, which are then converted into coordinates that the robot can recognize to guide the robot in correction and assembly. In waste sorting systems, different colored waste bags are assigned to different types of waste, and after being thrown into the waste system entrance, the sorting system classifies and sorts the waste based on the color attributes of the bags. In order to complete the task of sorting waste bags of different colors, this paper designs a four-degree-of-freedom parallel robotic arm that is different from traditional mechanical structures, achieving stable and flexible movement of the manipulator in three-dimensional space and grabbing and classifying waste after it is loaded the circular disk. Meanwhile, through program design, the system is capable of determining the position of the disk and recognizing the color of the disk using a camera. Innovations in both mechanical structure and program code improve the performance of the robotic arm and the accuracy of the sorting process, providing a reference for the design of other robotic systems.
