Research on MEC and LoRa-based scheme for processing state information of equipment in converter station
Aiming at the status quo of low efficiency of traditional manual inspection to collect equipment state information and difficult to deeply analyse and predict equipment operation state in China’s converter stations, a converter station equipment operation state information processing scheme based on mobile edge computing and LoRa communication is proposed. Firstly, the advantages of edge computing and LoRa technology are analyzed, and the former is integrated into a handheld mobile terminal with the characteristics of IOT sensing and APP function for collecting the operating state information of the inspected equipment; secondly, LoRa communication is used to realize the collection of the information of the inspected equipment in the front-end, and 4G is used to realize the information interaction and communication scheme between the front-end and the back-end system; lastly, a new solution for collecting equipment operating state information is proposed through the examples and the comparison with the currently used manual collection of equipment operating state information. Finally, the superiority and feasibility of the given scheme are verified through example demonstration and comparison with the commonly used manual scheme for collecting equipment operation status information.
