An Improved Loop Timing Synchronization Scheme for Frequency-Hopping Systems Based on MSK
In remote wireless communication systems, clock deviation can severely affect the reception performance by causing symbol asynchronization, necessitating symbol timing synchronization. Traditional feedback-based synchronization schemes face challenges in frequency-hopping communication systems due to the discontinuity of the carrier signal, leading to issues such as lock loss and slow lock-in speed. In this paper, we propose an improved loop symbol timing synchronization scheme based on MSK signals, which is applicable to scenarios with signal discontinuity. This scheme utilizes interpolation to synchronize the output signals. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme exhibits excellent synchronization performance and maintains a certain level of interference resistance even under low signal-to-noise ratios.
