THE MEDIA RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMMUNICATOR FOR EMPLOYING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNIQUES IN SATELLITE TELEVISION CHANNELS: A SURVEY STUDY OF A SAMPLE OF MEDIA PROFESSIONALS IN IRAQI SATELLITE CHANNELS
After the rapid developments of digital technologies and artificial intelligence technologies, we no longer distinguish between the real and the artificial. The cards have been mixed and the facts have been lost in the digital age. From the technologies of augmented reality, deep fake and hologram, which are branches of artificial intelligence technologies that sometimes work to fabricate events, mix truth with fiction and manufacture facts, the importance of the social and media responsibility of the communicator emerges here in the face of these obstacles that stand in the way of achieving the most important conditions of honest media, which are objectivity and accuracy, which are the basis of credibility and trust in media work. Therefore, the research is based on a main question: What is the extent of the media responsibility of the communicator in employing artificial intelligence technologies in media work? The research aims to determine the level of social responsibility that the communicator possesses in facing the problems of employing artificial intelligence in media work, relying on the survey method, with the aim of reaching an understanding and interpretation of the research questions by distributing a questionnaire form to the intended sample, which is the communicator, to identify the most important problems facing the communicator in light of the employment of artificial intelligence technologies in media work, and the level of their conflict with the controls and conditions of media and social responsibility. The research gains its importance from the importance of the topic of artificial intelligence, which is the talk of the town in our world today, as it keeps pace with technological developments represented by artificial intelligence technologies.
