Optimization of NC turning parameters based on grey correlation method and RBF-GA
For the cutting vibration affects the surface finish and machining accuracy of the workpiece, the surface roughness is too low leading to the workpiece surface is too smooth may lead to poor lubrication effect and other issues. Taking 6061 aluminum alloy as the turning processing object, the optimization research of turning process parameters of CNC lathe was carried out for the different turning vibration and surface roughness of the workpiece under each process parameter. The multi-objective optimization problem of vibration and surface roughness was transformed into a single-objective optimization problem of grey correlation degree through grey correlation analysis. The optimization method based on grey correlation analysis and RBF-GA is used for process parameter optimization, and the optimal combination of turning process parameters is obtained by finding the maximum GRG value in the set of Pareto optimal solutions, and then the optimal combination of turning process parameters is obtained.
