Numerical study on fire smoke movement and control in inclined curved road tunnels
In order to explore the complex law and influencing mechanism of fire smoke flow in high slope and large curvature tunnels, this paper studies the synergistic effects of tunnel curvature and slope on smoke flow, critical velocity, back layer length and flue gas temperature in fire scenarios by numerical simulation method. The results show that the increase of tunnel curvature leads to an increase in critical velocity and back layer length. The increase in slope leads to a decrease in the length of the back layer. When the slope is -5∼5%, the critical velocity remains constant; When the slope exceeds 5%, the critical velocity decreases as the slope increases.
