Wave energy maximum output power desig
This comprehensive research paper focuses on optimizing the output power of a wave energy conversion (WEC) system by establishing detailed motion models for a buoy and an oscillator. Initially, considering only the heaving motion of the buoy in waves, a heaving motion model is crafted. Applying Newton's second law and fluid dynamics principles, a binary second-order differential equations system is formulated. Results show that with fixed or variable damping coefficients, the heaving displacement and velocity of the buoy and oscillator change dynamically over time, reaching specific values at 100 seconds.
